This is a list of notable Hmong Americans, including both original immigrants who obtained American citizenship and their American descendants.

To be included in this list, the person must have a Wikipedia article showing they are Hmong American or must have references showing they are Hmong American and are notable.

• Dia Cha, author, professor and anthropologist, St. Cloud State University, Minnesota.
• Doualy Xaykaothao, is a freelance American journalist and radio producer known for her work with NPR.
• Lormong Lo, former Omaha City Councilman.

• Mai Neng Moua, writer.
• Mee Moua, Minnesota State Senator ^[2]
• Vang Pao, Royal Lao Army Major General, revered Hmong Leader, commander of CIA-supported Hmong forces during the Laotian Civil War.
• Brenda Song, Disney channel actress/teen star, known for "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and The Suite Life on Deck. Song is an anglicized spelling of "Xiong".^[3]
• Cy Thao, Minnesota State Representative.
• Ka Vang, writer.
• Blong Xiong, first Asian American and Hmong American to serve on the Fresno City Council (2006)^[4]
• Joe Bee Xiong, the first Hmong American elected to public office in the state of Wisconsin, serving two terms as Eau Claire City councilman.^[5]
• Tou Ger Xiong, a diversity consultant, comedian, storyteller, and rapper.^[6]
• Xao "Jerry" Yang, the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion.
• Chai Vang, ex-National Guardsman, now a convicted multiple murderer.
• Sandy'Ci Moua- Hmong American actress, community organizer and production assistant and consultant.
• Kak Lee - Hmong filmmaker listed on IMDB as director, producer, editor, and cinematographer.^[7]
• Xiong Tong Lee, otherwise known as Li Xing, is a stuntman, actor, firearms marksman and a martial artist known for his Takamori-Ryu style. He has appeared in many films such as Rush Hour 3 to Fast Five.^[8]
• Bee Vang, actor, best known as Thao Vang Lor in Gran Torino
• Ahney Her, actress, best known as Sue Lor in Gran Torino
• Yia Moua, known as "the Bull," former Muay Thai Kick boxing Champion, now deceased.^[9]
• Doua Moua, singer, and actor. Appeared in Gran Torino as "Spider", and in The Last Airbender as an "Earthbender Guard".^[10]
